Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Daterok collects, uses, discloses, stores, and protects information relating to users of the platform and related services.
Last updated: April 14, 2026
1. Scope of This Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Daterok ("Daterok," "we," "us," or "our"), which operates the public site at daterok.com, collects, uses, stores, discloses, and otherwise processes information relating to individuals who access or use our website, create an account, contact us, purchase access, or otherwise interact with our services.
This Privacy Policy applies to information collected through the Daterok website, account registration flows, billing or checkout flows, communications, contact forms, customer support interactions, and related digital services. It does not necessarily apply to third-party websites, payment processors, or services that operate under their own privacy terms.
By using the Services, you acknowledge that your information may be processed as described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, you should not use the Services.
2. Categories of Information We May Collect
Depending on how you interact with Daterok, we may collect identifiers, contact details, account information, communications, commercial information, technical and device information, usage data, and other information reasonably related to operating and improving the Services.
Categories of information we may collect include your name, email address, sign-in codes or other account credentials, form submissions, support messages, one-time purchase records, transaction-related information, course access status, device characteristics, browser type, operating system, IP address, approximate location inferred from IP, session information, local storage values, cookie identifiers, and other similar service activity information reasonably necessary to operate the Services.
We may also create or infer information from the data we collect, such as support history, purchase and access status, fraud or abuse signals, and account security history where reasonably necessary for operations, security, billing, and customer support.
3. Information You Provide Directly
We may collect information you provide directly when you create an account, sign in, verify your email, contact us, submit a support request, make a purchase, or otherwise communicate with Daterok.
This may include your name, email address, account credentials, inquiry content, support messages, and any other information you choose to submit through forms, emails, or other communications.
If paid offerings are made available, we or our third-party processors may collect payment-related information in connection with your transaction. In many cases, payment card details may be collected directly by a third-party processor, while Daterok receives limited billing or transaction metadata such as payment status, amount, currency, tax, billing country or postal code, payment timing, and partial payment identifiers.
Please do not submit sensitive personal information that is not reasonably necessary for your use of the Services unless Daterok expressly requests it for a legitimate purpose.
4. Information Collected Automatically
When you access or use the Services, we and service providers acting on our behalf may automatically collect certain technical and usage information. This may include IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, language settings, timestamps, referring and exit pages, session activity, and similar diagnostic information.
We may also automatically collect data through cookies, local storage, session technologies, authentication mechanisms, and similar tools that support account access, security, checkout, fraud prevention, preferences, and feature functionality.
Daterok may also maintain limited first-party visit measurement records, such as daily page views and approximate daily unique visitors, for internal reporting, service improvement, abuse monitoring, and business planning. These internal records are not described as optional third-party advertising or optional third-party analytics tools.
Automatically collected data may be linked with other information we collect where reasonably necessary to support account administration, billing, customer support, service troubleshooting, legal compliance, or fraud prevention.
5. Information from Third Parties
We may receive information from third parties in connection with the operation of the Services, including payment processors, authentication providers, hosting vendors, email delivery services, content delivery or storage providers, security tools, error monitoring providers, and support vendors.
If you interact with Daterok through a third-party payment flow, authentication flow, or other integrated service, we may receive limited information related to that transaction or interaction, subject to the third party's practices and your settings with them.
6. How We Use Personal Information
We may use personal information to provide, operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Services; create and manage user accounts; authenticate users; verify email ownership; process one-time purchases; grant course access; respond to inquiries; and provide customer support.
We may also use personal information to analyze usage, troubleshoot issues, monitor performance, detect and prevent fraud or unauthorized activity, enforce our Terms and policies, maintain records, protect our rights and operations, and comply with legal, regulatory, tax, accounting, and security obligations.
We may use contact information to send service-related messages, including sign-in codes, verification emails, password-reset messages, billing confirmations, payment receipts, security notices, support follow-ups, and other communications reasonably necessary to provide the Services.
We may also use information in aggregated, anonymous, or de-identified form for lawful business purposes such as service measurement, business planning, product development, and service improvement.
7. How We May Disclose Personal Information
We may disclose personal information to service providers, vendors, processors, contractors, and other business partners who perform services on our behalf or help us operate the Services, including providers involved in hosting, infrastructure, account authentication, payments, billing, email delivery, content delivery, security, error monitoring, fraud prevention, and customer support.
We may disclose personal information where reasonably necessary to comply with law, regulation, subpoena, court order, lawful process, governmental request, or legal obligation; to investigate or prevent fraud, abuse, security incidents, or unlawful conduct; to enforce our Terms and other policies; or to protect the rights, safety, property, systems, users, or operations of Daterok or others.
We may also disclose information in connection with an actual or proposed merger, acquisition, financing, restructuring, sale of assets, bankruptcy, or similar business transaction, subject to customary legal protections where applicable.
We may disclose information with your consent or at your direction, and we may disclose information that has been aggregated, anonymized, or de-identified in a manner that does not reasonably identify you.
8. Sale, Sharing, and Advertising Statements
As of the Last Updated date of this Privacy Policy, Daterok does not state that it sells personal information for monetary consideration through the public-facing Services. Daterok also does not describe the Services as being built around third-party targeted advertising networks. If those practices materially change, we may update this Privacy Policy and provide any notices required by applicable law.
If a privacy law applicable to Daterok treats a particular disclosure as "sale," "sharing," or targeted advertising, Daterok will seek to comply with the applicable law to the extent it applies to our business and processing activities.
9. Cookies, Local Storage, and Similar Technologies
Daterok uses cookies, local storage, session technologies, and similar tools where reasonably necessary to operate the Services, maintain login state, support security, support checkout and fraud prevention, and remember interface choices such as whether a site notice has already been dismissed.
As of the Last Updated date of this Privacy Policy, Daterok does not describe the public site as using optional advertising cookies or optional third-party analytics cookies. Daterok may still use limited first-party visit measurement for internal reporting without optional third-party analytics scripts. Payment and fraud-prevention providers such as Stripe may use their own required technologies during checkout. You may be able to control some technologies through your browser or device settings, but doing so may affect site functionality or payment processing.
Daterok may not respond to every browser-based "do not track" or similar signal unless and until such a response is required by applicable law or we expressly state otherwise.
10. Communications and Contact Choices
We may send account-related, transaction-related, verification-related, billing-related, support-related, security-related, and other service communications when necessary to provide the Services, maintain accounts, process purchases, or comply with law.
As of the Last Updated date of this Privacy Policy, Daterok does not describe the public site as operating a public newsletter or optional marketing-email program. If that changes, we may update this Privacy Policy and provide any required unsubscribe, opt-out, or consent mechanisms.
11. Data Retention
We may retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including to provide the Services, maintain accounts, complete transactions, keep business and tax records, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, investigate incidents, prevent fraud, and enforce our agreements.
Retention periods may vary based on the type of information, the sensitivity of the information, whether the information relates to an active account or ongoing account relationship, and whether retention is needed for operational, legal, accounting, security, or dispute-resolution purposes.
12. Data Security
Daterok may use administrative, technical, physical, and organizational safeguards reasonably designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, disclosure, misuse, alteration, or destruction. These measures may include access controls, authentication safeguards, security monitoring, vendor management measures, and other appropriate protections.
However, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure. Accordingly, Daterok cannot and does not guarantee absolute security. You are also responsible for using strong credentials, safeguarding your devices, and notifying us promptly of any suspected unauthorized account activity.
13. International Processing and Transfers
Daterok may process or store information in the United States, Canada, or other jurisdictions where Daterok or its service providers operate. As a result, your information may be transferred to, processed in, or accessed from jurisdictions that may have data-protection laws different from those in your place of residence.
By using the Services, and to the extent permitted by law, you acknowledge that such transfers and processing may occur for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.
14. Children's Privacy
The Services are intended for adults and are not directed to children under 18. Daterok does not knowingly collect personal information from children through the public-facing Services in a manner inconsistent with applicable law, including laws governing children's online privacy.
If you believe that a person under the permitted age has provided personal information to Daterok, please contact us so we can review the issue and take appropriate action where warranted.
15. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on where you live and to the extent applicable law grants such rights, you may have the right to request access to personal information, request correction of inaccurate information, request deletion, request portability, object to or restrict certain processing, withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, or appeal a denied privacy request.
Daterok may need to verify your identity and authority before fulfilling certain requests. We may deny a request in whole or in part where permitted by law, including where we cannot verify the request, where an exception applies, where the request would infringe the rights of others, or where retention is required for legal, accounting, security, contractual, or operational reasons.
You may also update certain account information directly through your account settings, if such functionality is available. To make a privacy-related request, you may contact us using the information below.
16. Region-Specific Rights and Notices
Certain jurisdictions, including some U.S. states, the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and other regions, may provide additional privacy rights or require additional notices. To the extent such laws apply to Daterok and cannot be disclaimed, Daterok will seek to honor the rights and disclosures required by those laws.
Nothing in this Privacy Policy is intended to limit any non-waivable privacy rights you may have under applicable law. If a provision of this Privacy Policy conflicts with a mandatory legal requirement, the legal requirement will govern to the extent of the conflict.
17. Changes to This Privacy Policy
Daterok may update this Privacy Policy from time to time in our sole discretion to reflect changes in the Services, business practices, legal requirements, or privacy operations. When we do so, we may update the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, provide additional notice.
Your continued use of the Services after an updated Privacy Policy becomes effective means that you acknowledge the updated policy to the fullest extent permitted by law. If you do not agree with the updated policy, you should stop using the Services.
18. Contact Us
Privacy questions, requests, or concerns may be submitted through the contact page or by email at support@daterok.com. Billing-related questions may also be sent to billing@daterok.com. If you contact us about a privacy request, please provide enough information for us to understand, evaluate, and respond appropriately.
